Waccamaw HOME Consortium Public Hearing Notice

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE AND PLAN AVAILABILITY FOR REVIEW
WACCAMAW HOME CONSORTIUM FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN

The Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments will conduct a public hearing to accept citizen’s comments on the proposed Five-year Consolidated Plan, 2016-2020, and 2016 Annual Action Plan.  The Consolidated Plan describes the area housing and community development needs.  It proposes priorities and strategies to address these needs over a five-year period. Included in the Plan is the One-Year Action Plan, and that will be updated annually.

The public hearing for comments on the 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan and 2016 Action Plan will be:

Tuesday April 26, 2016
4:00 p.m.

Copies of the proposed Plan will also be available for public review from  April 8, 2016 to May 8, 2016 Monday through Friday in the following locations: the main libraries in Georgetown County, Horry County, Williamsburg County, the City of Myrtle Beach and the area housing authorities.  Copies of the Draft Plan will be available in the public library branches, online at the WRCOG website www.wrcog.org and at the Consortium offices.
