Information Referral and Assistance

The Regional Information, Referral and Assistance program (IR&A) provides a one-stop approach to bringing together the services, resources and seniors of Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg counties. A trained IR&A Specialist works with clients to confidentially assess a situation and make appropriate referrals. When necessary, IR&A staff can advocate on behalf of a client or community.

Our IR&A staff can provide information regarding:

• Financial Assistance/Emergency Assistance
• Health, Wellness and Senior Activities
• Homemaking Services/Home Health Services
• Housing
• Medication Assistance
• Transportation
• Aging in Place
